Privacy

Last updated 19 October 2026.

Shimmerkeep collects no personal data. That's the whole policy, but here are the details.

No accounts

There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log in to.

No ads, no tracking

The game and this website show no ads. There are no analytics, no tracking cookies and no third-party scripts.

What is saved, and where

Your progress, settings, shards, high scores and streaks are saved only on your own device. In the browser they live in your browser's storage for shimmerkeep.com. In the Windows version they live in a save file on your PC. None of it is sent to us or anyone else.

High-score names are whatever you type in, and they stay on your device too.

Clearing your data

In the browser, clear the site data for shimmerkeep.com in your browser settings. On Windows, delete the save file from the game's folder in your user app data. Clearing it removes your progress, high scores and Keep upgrades for good.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles the network traffic needed to deliver the pages and the game. We don't receive or keep any of that data.
